21-22 February 2020
This one proved a bit of a challenge. It started with remembering the killing of Malcolm X on February 21; then Nina Simone songs were added to mark her birthday on February 21; and finally, songs that John Lewis liked and songs by the SNCC Freedom Singers were added to honor his birthday also on February 21. No doubt some important events were missed. As the list was being developed, a cold was also brewing, combining that with some laziness, it took two days to work through the playlist.
