Inter-Korean Summit and the Hope for Peace
Korea is always on my friend Grace Ji-Sun Kim’s mind. She reflects on the Inter-Korea Summit and the hope for peace.
“Koreans live in hope. Hope that the wall of war, tension, and distrust that has separated families, friends, and neighbors and scarred the peninsula will one day be a remnant of history. Hope that the Korean War can be ended, and peace can be restored, and justice can be established. Hope that this beautiful peninsula can one day be reunited.”
Let us pray for peace in the Korean peninsula.
Below is my reflection on the Inter-Korean Summit happening on April 27, 2018.
We all live with hope for peace.

We Meet Again Tour – 24 April 2018
The return tour to New York has continued although posts have not been made. Efforts will be made to address that.
Last night, the tour made its way to Yankees Stadium. The first time I saw the Yankees play was against the Pittsburgh Pirates on 13 October 1960. The Pirates, my Pirates, won. I have remained a Pirates fan every since through triumphs, and a whole bunch of losing and frustration.
But my friend Don had tickets from his work and so, with Don and our friends John and Jim, I went to the game.
The Yankees put on a show of power. CC Sabathia pitched well. And a fun time was had!
