From Greeley, we made our way south to
Ghost Ranch.
We stopped to view the Pueblo Zoo.
Among the fauna and the flora
purple flowers greeted us.
Then the rain greeted us.
We spent some time in a shelter with
some wonderful folks and
more than enough obnoxious mosquitoes.

Two purple sentries,
in different stages of development,
stand and watch at the
Greeley Centennial Village Museum.
For the record –
and should you ever visit Greeley –
the museum has much, much more
to see and do
than merely purple flowers
to photograph and view.

Another flower
another shade
but still enjoying the incredible diversity
of the gardens at the
Greeley Centennial Village Museum.

A different type of purple flowers,
although still in the gardens of the
Greeley Centennial Village Museum
and I still don’t know their name.
I appreciate their color and their beauty.
