22 July 2019

You will notice that this playlist fails to attend to two “rules” (which are more like guidelines): it includes more than one song by the same artist and it includes covers of the same song by multiple artist … it does so because this is my birthday and I’ll play what I want to. I took the day off which is why I was able to do as much as I did.

A color I am thankful for

It should come as no surprise that purple is the color. Thanks to the saints of First Presbyterian Church of Whitestone for a purple birthday party.

Traci Smith, author of Faithful Families: Creating Sacred Moments at Home has provided a gift of the November 2018 Gratitude Every Day calendar. I am using it as an opportuity to revisit photos and post them as they speak to gratitude.

Birthday walk/jog 2017

Two years ago, I began the practice of walking/jogging on my birthday for one minute for every year of my age. It was a tad warm in Louisville today. And a wee bit humid. But I made it.

The weather:

See you along the Trail.
