Tumbling down

IMG_0349

The last time I saw the Berlin Wall,
it was in one piece
and it cut the city in two.
Visiting the Jeju 3 April Peace Park,
I saw a section of the wall
and reflected on the blessings of walls coming down.

  1. Hi,
luckily I’ve found this blog via Google-Search/Image search. You’ve included in this post a seldom photo of the Berlin Wall segments in Jeju Peace Park.

May I use the above photo on my blog Berlin Wall across the world, too? Of course marked with your copyright and a backlink to this blog? I would embed the photo here: http://en.the-wall-net.org/jeju-rok/ ; https://the-wall-net.org/jeju-rok/

The Wall Net gathers and documents the remains of the Berlin Wall in its contemporary context around the world. It connects the past with the present, figures out today’s symbolic meanings and reverses the Wall’s original function: once constructed to keep societies apart, the remains are now bringing communities together.

Let me know if you agree.

    Regards
    Rainer
